About team

Finecast is currently live in fourteen markets with a number of new market launches planned for 2023.

The team is made up of an expanding team of 300+ spanning Product, Data & Analytics, Engagement, Operations, Client Services, Marketing, Business Operations, and Finance functions.

The role Objectives

The Global Director, Solutions Architect will support Finecast in designing, building and rolling out new product solutions around the world providing our clients with access to new technologies, data, audiences, and measurement and attribution solutions.

As Finecast continues to expand globally, the role will have the responsibility for designing, testing and rolling out new product solutions across our markets, executing a consistent product vision, architecting solutions, providing best practice guidance on implementation and evaluating our success.

The role will report to Senior Director, Product Solutions in the global team.

The primary responsibilities of the role will be:

  • Work closely with our local and global teams on designing, testing and implementing of new product solutions in and around the addressable TV advertising space
  • Design testing frameworks and guide ‘proof of concept’ market tests to drive iterative development
  • Engage with our partners and vendors on a technical level to architect solutions, drive product development and develop joint roadmaps, where required
  • Identify and help test partnership opportunities across inventory, data and technology to support the successful development of new product solutions
  • Oversee the global prioritisation, solution design and roll out plans of new product solutions across our global footprint
  • Input into business cases for new product solutions to help illustrate their value and impact
  • Support the research and assessment of new product solutions and track and evaluate their success
  • Input into the go-to-market strategy, positioning, marketing and training materials for new products, working closely with the marketing, market development and product teams within existing frameworks
  • Establish and maintain key relationships across our global product and innovation communities, both within Finecast and across GroupM
  • Actively contribute to and help drive a culture of innovation across our global organisation

Candidate requirements

The ideal candidate will be passionate about building new products solutions, a creative thinker with a can-do attitude and strong commercial acumen, who is able to collaborate well internally and externally to drive projects to completion, communicate effectively to articulate ideas and product vision, and manage multiple stakeholders in complex projects.

A strong working knowledge of the TV advertising and digital media industries is key as the candidate will need to help architect and roll out first to market product solutions that will require creative commercial and technical thinking and alignment with our core proposition (i.e., single point of access to the whole addressable TV marketplace).

Ideally, the candidate will have a strong working experience of building product solutions, taking those products to market and working with local teams to build enthusiasm, understanding and regular dialogue, inspiring our people to take calculated risks in testing new opportunities.

The following skills and attributes will be essential:

  • Solid hands-on experience of developing and rolling out new products and solutions
  • Solid experience in the TV advertising and digital media industries
  • Strong technical acumen in the TV and video advertising technology space – e.g., DSPs, SSPs, ad servers, data platforms
  • Understanding and experience of product development process and project leadership with a focus on building new products
  • Ability to develop partner relationships – holding them accountable and clearly setting expectations / requirements and prioritising tasks
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt and move on if ideas do not work, while learning from mistakes
  • Proven ability to work positively as a key stakeholder in cross functional projects, being able to listen and process information from others and incorporate feedback
  • Excellent communication skills, effectively translating complex ideas into easy to understand, workable solutions and comfortable presenting in group environments
  • Strong stakeholder management skills – the ability to build effective working relationships and work through challenging circumstances to drive a defined end goal
